I wanted to discover if there is more in life than food retail, so I became a Commercial Director at Quantore; a large international wholesale organization in office supply materials. After three years of growth and innovations in sales, marketing, and commercial format departments, I continued as an independent retail professional for the first time. When BrandLoyalty however approached me for an international retail role, with a close connection to Spain, I decided to join them in 2007 as a Sales Director. BrandLoyalty is a leading global provider of campaign-based loyalty campaigns. I had set myself the challenge to open up the Spanish market, bring loyalty campaigns to supermarkets in Spain, and broaden the loyalty business in different European countries such as Austria, Switzerland, and Belgium.
I realized that sharing my (retail) knowledge is something I am passionate about. I feel comfortable speaking to larger groups, which I can do in several languages. I speak fluently English, Dutch, Spanish, and German. I have spoken at many events and hosted and developed multiple trainings, keynotes, and master classes.
I have gained tremendous experience in developing, designing, and organizing international events, creating unique experiences for international clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
All my experiences and talents will be used to support retail organizations in their relevant retail projects; whether on an interim or project base. On my website, you'll find some of the work realized, projects I am involved with, or ideas on how to help others improve the retail experience.
